 Seaspan Corporation  announced  that it has accepted delivery of the CMA CGM Chennai, a 10000 TEU containership that will commence a fixed rate time charter with CMA CGM S.A.  for a three year term with an option to extend for an additional three years.   The new containership, which was constructed at Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co.

Navios Maritime Partners Adds One More Panamax Vessel

 Navios Maritime Partners announced that it took delivery of the Navios Symmetry, a 2006-built, 74,477 dwt Panamax vessel on May 21, 2018.    The international owner and operator of container and dry bulk vessels said in a press release that as previously announced, the vessel was acquired for a price of $11.

Steel Cut for P&O Cruises' New LNG-powered Ship

 P&O Cruises marked a construction milestone last week as it cut the first piece of steel for its newest ship being built at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg.  The steel cutting ceremony was attended by P&O Cruises senior vice president, Paul Ludlow; Carnival UK president Josh Weinstein and managing director of Meyer Werft, Tim Meyer.

Diana Containerships Sells m/v Puelo

Navios Maritime Containers Acquires Three Containerships
